ABOUT ME
My name is Stephanie Schreiber. Physiotherapy for me is not just a profession, but a passion.
My family and I spent seven years in the USA and the English-speaking part of Canada.
The language and the people grew very close to my heart during this time!
With a holistic approach to therapy, I view the person in their entirety - body, mind, and soul. I'll work with you on an individual plan for your treatment.
Your discomfort may be acute or chronic or linked to past injuries or overexertion. For me it is important to identify the causes during therapy and target your treatment as specifically as possible.
I completed my studies as a physiotherapist at the Europa Fachhochschule Fresenius in Taunus in cooperation with the Hogeschool van Utrecht (NL), graduating as a BSc of Health.

SERVICES
Manual Therapy
I examine and treat functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Special hand grip and mobilization techniques that relieve pain and eliminate movement disorders are the basis for treatment.
Passive techniques and active exercises are both used.
The goal of treatment is to restore the interaction between joints, muscles and nerves.
Physiotherapy
Serves to promote mobility through active and functional exercises.
The goal is to avoid stiffness and pain through passive mobilization. We strengthen weakened muscles through exercises that improve posture and coordination. Additionally, relaxation exercises for tense muscles restore optimal muscular conditions
Lymphatic Drainage
Serves to drain swollen tissue. Using special hand movements (circular and pumping movements of the palms), accumulated fluid is transported towards the relevant lymph nodes.
The inflamation subsides, pain is relieved, and the tissue becomes looser and softer, which increases mobility.
